Our products 

We have a suite of API products that automate tax-related workflows for any internet company. Those products are Lookup, Tax, Invoicing, and Reporting.

We may discover novel customer needs as we learn, and spin up new products as needed. 

About the role 

Our Sales & Business Development teams are instrumental in collaborating with prospects, customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage our disruptive solution to automate their tax requirements. We partner with some of the largest and most innovative organisations globally and as a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of educating new customers on how they can utilise the Fonoa solution.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will focus on consulting and educating enterprise organisations across Europe and the US. With the training and insights you would have gained upon joining the team, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers understand why we would be a strategic partner in heightening their tax endeavours.

In this role, you will partner closely with Account Executives to support, research and prospect target clients and aim to secure qualified sales opportunities. You will be accountable for your daily activity, outbound communications and work with internal stakeholders at Fonoa to effectively collaborate and achieve success. You will have the autonomy and creative freedom to be able to bring new ideas to the table and create new ways for us to effectively target and meet with future clients.

You will receive full training on our product, approach to strategic selling and best practices when it comes to researching, targeting accounts and how to manage interactions/conversations with clients. What you will be doing:

  • Tasked with growing monthly recurring revenue across your assigned territory from net new accounts across our markets
  • Develop and execute sales process and strategies and ensure compliance to internal data management and reporting
  • Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress, implementing improvements to achieve sales and opportunity creation goals
  • Collaborate with Marketing digital growth team to ensure effective follow up on leads to generate sales opportunities
  • Proactively communicate results and adjust plans according to evolving business needs. Provide detailed reporting of lead flow and key performance indicators to senior management
  • Manage/coach a team of SDRs to develop their sales skills including vertical market knowledge, forecasting, prospecting, and other necessary skills, while maintaining individual accountability to goals
  • Operate well in a fast paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision
  • Manage and coach individuals to be ready for next steps internally

You would be a great fit if: 

  • 2+ years experience within a software organisation as a sales development team lead or manager
  • Previous experience in sales, whether that be as an account executive or as a sales developer
  • Proven track record of success as a sales team leader
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies
  • Experience in training, coaching and nurturing a sales development team
  • You value culture and want to play an integral role in driving this to create an awesome environment in our Dublin office
  • Experience in incentivising and steering a team to success
  • Expert communications skills and a collaborative mindset
  • You are comfortable being an office based role
