Businesses selling into Egypt will soon be required to validate their B2B buyers' Tax Registration Number (TRN) and a new identifier, the Unique Identification Number (UIN).

This new tax ID validation process, which includes UIN validation, will be enforced starting November 1, 2024.

Egyptian businesses can begin applying for UINs from October 1, 2024.
