On March 29, 2024, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced the tenth wave of Phase 2 of mandatory e-invoicing implementation.

Timeline

This wave includes all taxpayers whose revenues subject to VAT exceeded SAR 25 Million (~USD 6.7 Million) during 2022 or 2023. VAT-registered taxpayers meeting the criteria will be notified by the ZATCA to integrate their e-invoicing solutions with the FATOORA Platform starting October 1, 2024.

Impact

Companies established and residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) must be ready to integrate their systems once the tenth wave becomes effective.
