Effective July 1, 2024, several taxing jurisdictions have imposed a local sales tax or changed their local sales tax rate. The details are listed here.

As of July 1, 2024, the sales tax rate will increase by 0.25% in all 10 jurisdictions of Iberia Parish and by 0.75% on transactions in the rural areas of Iberia Parish. District rate of sales tax will increase by 0.25% in Pointe Coupee Parish, Richland Parish, and West Baton Rouge Parish. In Morehouse Parish, in Bonita, the sales and use tax rate will increase by 0.5% and decrease in Mer Rouge by 2%. In Rapides Parish, in the Town of Cheneyville, the sales and use tax rate will increase by 1.25%.
Starting July 1, 2024, Beltrami County will have 0.625% sales and use tax.
