The Polish National e-Invoicing System (Krajowy System e-Faktur, or “KSeF”) legislation has been passed by the lower house of the Parliament (Sejm), despite initially being rejected by the upper house (Senate). The bill now awaits the President's signature to be enacted.

Timeline

E-invoicing in Poland will become mandatory from July 1, 2024.

Impact

Given the limited time to implementation, businesses should consider reviewing their IT systems, ERP systems, and invoicing processes to prepare themselves for the upcoming e-Invoicing mandate.
