The City of Old Harbor introduces a 3% sales tax.

Alaska has no state-wide sales tax, but many local jurisdictions have implemented their own sales taxes. Remote sellers can use a single point of registration provided by the Alaska Remote Seller Sales Tax Commission for all member jurisdictions. Businesses currently registered for sales tax in Alaska should start charging sales tax on taxable sales to customers in the city of Old Harbor from September 1, 2023.
