Poland’s National e-Invoice System (KSeF) has been updated to use the FA(2) logical structure for e-invoices.

Timeline

The new FA(2) logical structure replaced the previous FA(1) structure from September 1, 2023.

Impact

The new structure makes it easier for taxpayers to prepare for e-invoicing in Poland, which will be mandatory from July 1, 2024. Taxpayers can now issue e-invoices only in the FA(2) structure.

The updated FA(2) structure template is available on the website of the Polish Tax Authority in the 'KSeF XML document structures' section.
